Membership Agreement

By joining Green Spa Network (GSN), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Our Shared Commitment

GSN is a community of professionals and organizations committed to advancing sustainability throughout the spa, wellness, and hospitality industries.

Membership reflects a shared interest in responsible practices, education, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As a GSN Member, I Agree To:

1. Support the Mission

Support GSN's mission of advancing sustainability through education, collaboration, and responsible industry practices.

2. Participate Professionally

Engage respectfully and constructively with fellow members, industry partners, and the broader GSN community.

3. Represent My Organization Accurately

Provide truthful and current membership information, including organizational details, professional credentials, and contact information.

4. Respect the Community

Use GSN's member directory, communications, events, and networking opportunities responsibly. Member information will not be used for unauthorized solicitation, distribution, or commercial exploitation.

5. Communicate Sustainability Claims Responsibly

Avoid misleading representations regarding environmental performance, sustainability credentials, certifications, or GSN affiliation.

6. Understand Membership Recognition

A GSN membership signifies participation in the GSN community. It does not independently constitute sustainability certification, accreditation, or endorsement.

7. Maintain Membership in Good Standing

Comply with applicable membership dues, participation requirements, and GSN policies.

8. Respect Membership Access

For organizational memberships, ensure that access is limited to the designated number of participating team members included in the selected plan.

Acknowledgment

By completing membership registration, I confirm that:

• I understand the annual membership dues and applicable renewal and cancellation policies.

• I agree to uphold the principles and professional standards of the GSN community.

• If registering on behalf of an organization, I confirm that I am authorized to do so.

Membership Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

1. Membership Overview

Green Spa Network ("GSN") is a professional community dedicated to advancing sustainability across the spa, wellness, hospitality, and related industries through education, collaboration, and meaningful industry connections.

Membership provides access to designated GSN programs, resources, networking opportunities, and benefits, subject to membership category, eligibility, and availability.

GSN reserves the right to review membership applications and determine eligibility consistent with its mission and organizational policies.

2. Membership Categories

GSN offers the following membership categories:

Brands & Resource Partners: For companies and organizations providing products, services, technologies, and professional resources to the spa, wellness, and hospitality industries.

Spa & Wellness Organizations: For spas, wellness facilities, hospitality businesses, and organizations operating or supporting spa and wellness services.

Individual Professionals: For individuals joining in their personal professional capacity rather than on behalf of an organization.

Organizational memberships may include up to three or six designated individuals, depending on the selected plan. Individual memberships cover one person only.

3. Membership Term and Renewal

Memberships are offered on an annual basis, beginning on the date of activation unless otherwise specified.

Membership renewal is subject to payment of applicable annual dues and continued eligibility.

If automatic renewal is offered and selected, members will be informed of the renewal terms, amount, timing, and cancellation procedure before enrollment.

GSN may revise membership dues or benefits for future renewal periods with advance notice.

4. Membership Dues and Payments

Membership dues are payable according to the selected membership plan and payment terms presented during registration.

Membership benefits become available upon successful payment and account activation, unless otherwise communicated.

Additional programs, events, conferences, and activities may require separate registration and fees.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Members may request cancellation of their membership by contacting GSN or using available account management tools.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle a member to a refund of dues already paid.

Annual membership dues are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly authorized by GSN.

Unless otherwise specified, cancellation remains effective at the end of the current paid membership term.

Where automatic renewal applies, cancellation must be completed before the next renewal charge to avoid renewal, subject to applicable law.

6. Organizational Memberships and Team Members

Organizational memberships belong to the registered organization and are administered by a designated primary contact.

Each organizational membership permits the number of individual participants specified by its plan.

The primary contact counts toward the total number of permitted participants.

Organizations are responsible for maintaining accurate team member information and ensuring that designated participants comply with GSN policies.

Participating individuals may be replaced during the membership term, provided the total number of active participants does not exceed the plan limit.

Membership benefits and access may not be shared with unauthorized individuals.

7. Membership Benefits

Benefits may include:

• Access to the GSN Member Community and Directory

• Educational programs and virtual events

• Sustainability resources and professional tools

• GSN membership recognition and approved branding assets

• Networking and collaboration opportunities

• Eligibility for select GSN programs and events

Specific benefits may vary by membership category and are subject to modification.

GSN does not guarantee business referrals, media exposure, commercial opportunities, or participation in any particular program.

8. GSN Sustainability Summit

Active GSN membership may be required for eligibility to apply for or participate in the GSN Sustainability Summit.

Summit pre-registration does not guarantee acceptance, invitation, or attendance.

GSN reserves the right to review and select participants based on event objectives, professional relevance, available capacity, and the goal of creating a balanced and meaningful experience.

Summit registration fees, payment terms, cancellation policies, and participation requirements are separate from annual membership dues.

9. Member Directory and Community Participation

Members may be included in the GSN Member Directory according to their membership category and applicable privacy settings.

Members agree to provide accurate information and maintain current contact and organizational details.

Directory information and member contact details may not be harvested, sold, distributed, or used for unsolicited mass marketing.

Members must use GSN community features respectfully and professionally.

10. Use of GSN Name and Membership Marks

Active members may use authorized GSN membership logos and marks in accordance with GSN branding guidelines.

Membership does not constitute certification, accreditation, endorsement, or verification of a member's sustainability practices.

Members may not imply that GSN endorses their products, services, or environmental claims without express written authorization.

Upon termination or expiration of membership, members must discontinue use of membership-specific marks.

11. Suspension or Termination

GSN may suspend or terminate membership for nonpayment, material violations of these Terms, misrepresentation, harassment, misuse of member information, or conduct that materially harms the organization or its community.

Where appropriate, GSN may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.

12. Privacy and Communications

GSN collects and processes member information to administer memberships, provide services, facilitate community participation, and communicate relevant programs and opportunities.

Member information is handled according to GSN's Privacy Policy.

Members may receive essential administrative communications regarding their accounts, dues, renewals, and membership status. Optional marketing communications will be managed in accordance with applicable law and communication preferences.

13. Changes to Terms and Benefits

GSN may update these Terms, membership programs, or benefits as its activities evolve.

Material changes will be communicated to members as appropriate and will take effect as stated in the notice, subject to applicable law.

14. Limitation of Responsibility

GSN provides professional networking, education, and informational resources but does not guarantee specific business, financial, or sustainability outcomes.

To the extent permitted by law, GSN is not responsible for losses arising from independent business arrangements between members or reliance on information provided by other members.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
